The reports of the murder of Deborah Samuel, a 200 level student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State by her co-students raised desperate calls for justice to be done. In fact, it was quite commendable when the police arrested two suspects in connection with the murder - the same suspects for whom angry Muslim youths are protesting their release.

Meanwhile, according to reports from the Peoples Gazette, a top police source recently gave updates on the investigation of the suspected killers of the 200 level female student. Speaking on the recent video which went viral recently about a man, who alleged that he struck the match box and set Deborah ablaze, the police source revealed that he had been categorised as the prime suspect in the investigation.

According to the police source, the Police began searching for the young man since this confession but has been unable to find him because he's not a Nigerian but rather, came in from Niger Republic to cause chaos in the country.

The top police source said thus:

“We started looking for him immediately we saw his video on social media because he is fundamental to our investigation. We are now learning that he is not even a Nigerian but only came in illegally from Niger Republic to cause chaos in our country”.

Speaking further, the police official assured Nigerians of the Police's commitment to find the suspected killer noting that Interpol might be enlisted to help arrest him even though some Police officers think that he is a Nigerian and remained within the country’s borders.
